It is obvious that a hotel situated right on the beach front will charge a significantly higher rate than one which is half a mile or so back from the beach. There are plenty of alternatives to staying in a hotel, almost all of which are far cheaper, leaving you more of your hard earned money to enjoy shopping, eating out and having a drink.
